I have been involved with the property market for around 10 years now, initially as a property manager then real estate agency manager in London (UK), before moving in to property finance including home loans and investment loans.

During both my real estate and finance careers in the UK I specialised in assisting property investors, particularly surrounding the provision so sound finance structures for investment, and still work closely with property investors in Australia along with first home buyers, self-employed borrowers and new arrivals to Australia.

My aim is to help those who want to build a property portfolio gain the best structured for the future - the right structure for a home loan or investment loan can save you thousands in the long run.

I have a lot of experience with first home buyers and particularly enjoy helping people to get through the process of finding and applying for a home loan for the first time. Buying your first home can be a worrying and stressful time, but having been involved in the real estate process from all sides I inject a lot of knowledge and a calming atmosphere into the process so you can be confident of your home loan choice.

My experience with investors combines knowledge of the property and finance markets both here and in the UK. I love property and I love property investment. I have a strong financial background and have no problems dissecting Profit and Loss statements to help find the right loan to maximise your borrowing capacity. I regularly deal with self-employed home loan applicants and have an excellent understanding of how the banks perceive income. Painting the right picture to the bank will assist your application throughout the home loan assessment process. I am also adept at understanding complex trust structures and breaking them down to obtain the loan required.

New Arrivals in Australia

Brits in Brisbane! I work closely with clients from Europe to help with the move Down Under. It is a daunting experience moving to the other side of the world, but having been through it myself I can provide helpful hints to smooth the way. Home loans in Australia are different from European loans and the purchase process can be completely different. With experience on both sides of the world and contacts still in the UK mortgage market, I can help with the whole purchasing process. A good tip to people moving from overseas is not to send your money through the banks. A foreign exchange company could save you thousands.

  •     CEMAP – UK Certificate in Mortgage Advice and Practice
  •     CEFA – UK Certificate in Financial Advice
  •     UK qualifications that not only allow advice on mortgages but also full financial advice on pensions and investments
  •     Real Estate Qualifications – UK
