It took me sometime to actually make my mind up to go ahead with the sale and to decide auction was the way I wanted to go. Some neighbours that had also recently sold, told me that they had engaged Matt Lancashire from Ray White in New Farm and that they were totally happy with the service and result that he provided. At no time did I feel any pressure on me to go forward with the sale. When I did make the decision to go ahead, Matt and I had a meeting where we discussed the advertising, open house times, marketing, weekly written market reports, daily phone updates. All the service signatures and standards that the entire sales and support team at Ray White New Farm, Matt and Stacy would be providing me during the campaign. Standard practice was also to have the entire sales team meet at my home to do a walk thru and a complete brief. This enabled any of the sales team to confidently respond to enquiries regarding my home and to also consider clients that were on there data base looking to purchase in New Farm. Overall due to the professionalism of the entire Ray White New Farm team, the entire experience was much less stressful than I anticipated. On the night the auction result was what I had hoped for. I am writing to commend you on your abovementioned staff member for outstanding service that I believe is above and beyond that normally found in the industry. Approximately two months ago, knowing that I was in need of a specific rental property I sent a generic email to every agency in the New Farm area outlining my needs after having had a horrendous experience in an executive rental property through another Property Management that resulted in my partner and I successfully applying to have our lease terminated. Leah was one of only two agents that had the courtesy to reply to my email, and since that initial contact, has continually followed up and put a great deal of time and effort into locating the right property for us. As I’m sure you can appreciate, the property management industry in general is not the most professional at times, and following our experience with the other Property Management we were further bewildered at the number of times agents would not return phone call or email enquiries regarding properties they had advertised and would fail to show up to inspections without the decency of a phone call beforehand, especially when we were looking at paying up to $1200 per week for the right property. I estimate that in the two months I have been searching for a property I’ve wasted somewhere around 12 work hours either attending properties where no agent showed up or was running half an hour or more late, which I believe is simply unacceptable. At all times Leah has been extremely helpful, professional and courteous and dealing with her has certainly been refreshing given my experiences over the past two months and her efforts resulted in finding our new home, which we have just leased through your office. You are to be congratulated on having staff that maintain such high levels of service and who are genuine in what they say and do. Please also pass on my thanks and gratitude to Leah herself. I have found that what most of these agents forget is that renters one day become property owners. My plans to purchase my first investment property are on track for November/December this year and I will certainly be looking to Ray White New Farm to assist with both the purchase and property management.
